Understand local collection and optional external tagging before using the preview.

## Local history and focus archive

BrowserDaddy reads available browser history stores and keeps a separate archive on your Mac. Records can include visited URLs, page titles, visit times, browser/profile identity, searches and foreground focus segments. It does not modify the source browser history. Browser and macOS permissions determine what is readable.

## Attention and private windows

Foreground attention uses the frontmost app, input-idle state and, where permitted, active-tab metadata. Collection starts with the watcher; it is not a reconstruction of past attention. Private-window exclusion is not yet release-qualified. The development preview should not be relied on to exclude sensitive private-tab activity.

## Optional classifier.dev requests

When you enable and run topic tagging, classification requests send domain names with selected page titles, and page hostnames with URL paths and titles, to classifier.dev. These values can reveal sensitive browsing information. This optional external processing is distinct from local archiving. Do not enable it unless you are comfortable transmitting that information.

## This website

The landing page does not access your browser history or the native archive. Hosting requests include ordinary connection data. Shared Significant Hobbies footer scripts load on the site; AI-assistant links open a question about the public product when clicked and do not attach your browsing archive. No native download or account creation is offered here.

## Product boundaries

- Development preview; no public download
- Visits are not attention and past focus cannot be reconstructed
- Active-tab visibility depends on browser support and Automation permission
- Private-window filtering is not release-qualified
- Optional tagging transmits domain names, selected URL paths and page titles to classifier.dev
- No browser-history deletion, remote surveillance or device sync
